Our Midland Divisional Headquarters located in St. Louis, Missouri, is looking for a professional with fundraising experience to join our team as the new Development Specialist. This individual will secure institutional financial gifts through personal solicitation and written proposals, which will provide funding for programs, corps, and general operations of The Salvation Army. This position manages a portfolio of government and private foundations, and assists with corporate prospects for solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship to achieve organizational goals and objectives in collaboration with Divisional Social Services. In pursuit of this objective, the Development Specialist will develop and execute a plan to diversify, strengthen, and increase the grant funding base including developing new sources of funding.
This is a full-time, exempt position, 40 hours per week, with a starting pay up to $60,000 a year depending on education and experience.
