About Little Legends Occupational Therapy
Little Legends OT is a therapist owned and led company. We want each of our kids to reach their individual potential and achieve the goals we set together. This is as unique as our kids which is why our services are personalised to meet the specific needs of each one of our little legends and their families.
Our services are currently delivered in and around the Hills District and Western Sydney, at home, preschool and school as this is often where our kids feel most comfortable and confident.
About the Role
At Little Legends OT, we have a family centred approach as we believe it’s a team effort between our ‘big legends” and our families to deliver services that positively impact the day to day lives of our kids.
We are passionate about working with neurodivergent kids and their families to ensure that each of our kid’s reaches their individual potential and goals. We offer a full scope of assessments, fine and gross motor skills development, ADL specific training, handwriting, NDIS report writing and assistive technology consultation.
About You
You’re a qualified Occupational Therapists with paediatric experience in a clinical setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing Occupational Therapy services to our kids with a range of developmental challenges. This includes assessments and intervention to develop areas including but not limited to gross and fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care skills, social and play skills.
Providing evidence-based intervention using a range of different service delivery models.
Collaborating with other team members and liaising with external allied health professionals to support our kids and their families.
Documenting assessment results, client progress notes and other reports as required.
Working in preschools, schools, and community settings to upskill and support key stakeholders to ensure a holistic and consistent approach in supporting our kids in all their most important occupations.

Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Registration with AHPRA.
A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
A current Police Check or valid NDIS worker check.
Driver's Licence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence in your ability to communicate with families and other allied health professionals.
Good organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work independently and collaborate within our team.
