Description
Ibis Landing is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Spray Technician.Job Description:
- Apply fertilizer and chemical applications.
- Update spray records, inventory and MSDS sheets.
- Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders.
- General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment.
- Over time be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues.
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Secondary studies in turf, agronomy or insects is desirable but not necessary.
Special Requirements:
- Able to obtain pesticide license within 90 days of employment.
- Willing to attend continuing education seminars and classes.
- Have no problems wearing spray applicator suits, full face respirators, or chemical resistant apparel.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Do simple math.
- Willing to learn.
- Detail oriented.
- Keep area neat and organized.
