Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Medical Oncology team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI
• Specialty: Medical Oncology
• Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Call Requirements: Outpatient call, about 1 in 8 weekends
• Team Size: 6 clinic RNs, 5 MAs, 5 APPs, nurse navigator, clinical oncology pharmacist, dietician, and genetics counselor in the breast center.
• Additional details
• The provider will collaborate closely with the Breast Medical Oncologist on patient care and case management. 
• The provider will manage high risk patients, breast cancer survivorship cases, and individuals presenting with new breast concerns in an outpatient clinic setting.

Requirements

• Experience preferred, open to new graduates
• Womens Health experience preferred
• APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
