Overview

Panther National is seeking a full-time Merchandise Manager / Golf Shop Merchandiser for a year-round role in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The position supports a private golf and lifestyle community and focuses on delivering a high-end retail experience within the golf shop. The role offers mentorship and growth opportunity for candidates with varying experience levels who demonstrate strong service commitment, presentation skills, and the desire to contribute to a high-performing team.

Experience Required

• One to five years of high-end retail experience.
• Genuine service heart.
• Working knowledge of POS and inventory software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with open-to-buy systems.
• Creativity for display, communications, and promotions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to plan and track.
• Conducts all business in an ethical manner.

Essential Responsibilities

• Consistently provide world-class individualized service to members and guests.
• Contribute as a valued team member to golf and club operation success.
• Work with staff and tournament chairpersons on gifts and prizes.
• Develop and foster relationships with members and their families.
• Work closely with the Director of Golf, Head Professional, and Panther management to create the golf retail and open-to-buy plan for each season.
• Purchase men's and ladies' apparel and accessories within the buying plan.
• Prepare incoming inventory for sale, including pricing, tagging, and display.
• Work with the accounting department to ensure invoices are paid on time and discounts are utilized.
• Coordinate and conduct inventories.
• Educate and assist golf shop staff to enhance service, product knowledge, and sales skills.
• Build relationships among golf staff and other departments.
• Attend golf merchandising meetings and conferences to enhance knowledge of trends, practices, and products and grow professional network.
• Create and utilize a welcoming and timely special-order system.
• Create, promote, and conduct sales promotions and special events such as trunk shows and holiday events.
